Anywhere in Colorado Springs to buy fresh naan bread (Indian/Pakistani bread)?

Hmmm, I don't know that I've seen fresh naan here, come to think of it. You can buy frozen in the "health food" grocery stores like Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocers. Or you can make it yourself: Naan Recipe - Allrecipes.com

Good question. You might try calling the local restaraunts like Little Nepal and see if they sell it. I can't remember the brand but king soopers sells non frozen semi fresh naan that is pretty good. It's usually in the deli section or by the produce.

Yes, any Indian restaurant should sell it...I ask to buy
their chutney occassionally and they just give it to me in a styrofoam container....
But remember...I am very charming.....
Same thing at a pizzeria...I ask for fresh dough sometimes....it cqan be $1.50~$2...
If they are in the mood and there is a manager there that knows it is ok.

It really isn't all that hard to make, and well worth learning how to do. There are lots of great videos on YouTube with instructions on how to make it and of course many more recipes online.

Sometimes watching a video can take the mystery out of doing something, especially making bread doughs.

In my experience, it IS hard to make, or at least make well. Problem is, home ovens don't get hot enough. Even with the heat all the way up, my homemade naan has come out more biscuit-y than naan-y. Even at 550, the oven isn't hot enough and naan rises and puffs up instead of staying flat, blistering and getting that slight bit of char. The best naan is made in a tandoor oven, which get extremely hot.

Probably the closest a home cook can come is with a hot charcoal grill. I think I've seen people basically using their Big Green Egg (a type of grill) as a tandoor.

Would a wok or griddle get hot enough?

A well-seasoned cast iron skillet is a thing of beauty, and the thing to use.
