Two more sweet adorable cats taken last Tues evening before 9 pm.
Skunks all over!
15 racoons came out of gutter behind Corpus Christi on Wood at 8 pm....what a SIGHT!

Please warn friends with little pets.
And please don't leave food out at night.

There are definitely things that pet owners should do, which will prevent this from happening. One is to not let them outside unsupervised. Another, like you said, is to keep food inside. Unfortunately, the coyote is only doing what they are born to do. They hunt and prey on small mammals. They don't know the difference between a domestic house cat and a rodent, other than it will make a better meal.

It's unfortunate that these animals lost their lives, but coyotes get a bad rap. It's the owners responsibility to care for their animals. If they choose to let them outside, they are choosing to potentially lose that pet to a wild animal.

Why the h*** are the cats outside in the first place?

I wing quite a few cats (most w/ tags) w/ my 1200 ft per second pellet gun anytime I see them squatting in my gardens (which I do not appreciate).

Look at the little buggers run!
