Advertisements

I have a new 2-car detached garage and called The WireNut since I see their advertisements in the mail quite a bit.

I need the garage wired and they wanted $50 just to do the estimate!

Anyone know good ones that do not charge just to do an estimate?

I'd be interested in a recommendation also.

I know a very amazing one - honest, prompt, and inexpensive. You probably have to PM me?

As long as you have at least ten postings and are not recommending yourself, it's okay to post a recommendation.

The site owner does draw the line on realtor referrals, which can only be done via DM.

Ok, well do a google search for 'Tarr Electric' - his name is Rob and he is phenomenal. Just a single guy that does it though, he doesn't have staff.

Try Patrick Electric. He was recommended by our real estate agent when we moved here three years ago. He's done several jobs for us. Shows up on time, reasonable rates, easy to work with. I think he's a single guy as well. There a major remodeling going across the street from us, and his truck has been there several times. Patrick's the only electrician I've seen.

If the job is a major or serious job, I'd recommend going union because of the better training - like Berwick Electric.

We used Berwick once and would call them again if we needed electrical work.
