According to weather.com, it looks like the middle of next week is supposed to be pretty chilly in Colorado Springs. So I think we'll be doing some of the indoor activities that you suggested. Looks like there are lots of great options! We're very excited

Yeah - it looks like the temp will drop considerably.

Haven't read all the replies, so if this was mentioned, sorry for repeating it. Another option might be the Dinosaur place "up the pass" in Woodland Park:

Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center - dinosaur museum

Another bonus is taking the nice drive (weather permitting) through Ute Pass to Woodland Park. Some very nice views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountains.

There is also this place on the west side: Ghost Town Museum | Things To Do in Colorado Springs

Well, 2 options a little different from the usual kiddie stuff those indoor places offer ... not that there's anything wrong with that.

Keep in mind that most tourist attractions in the Pikes Peak region offer coupons on their websites for money off admission prices.
