We are fairly new to the area and live on FT Carson. We are trying to figure out the youth baseball situation in the Springs. I see there is a Colorado Springs Little League which seems to have a huge footprint(everything south of Garden of the Gods)....not crazy about driving all over town for practices and games. Player attends Cheyenne Mtn Jr High. Are there any other youth baseball programs concentrated in the SW portion of town?? Thanks!

I don't know about southwest, but Fountain and Widefield in particular have their own park and rec leagues - that would be southeast and might work for you. The Widefield community page is here: http://cc.wsd3.schoolfusion.us/ You might also check with the school district you live in to see if they have any local sports programs - I kind of doubt so in D12 without it costing a pretty penny and being probably a club team, but I could be wrong.
