Really the best option is face-to-face in person whenever possible. I know that is not always possible, but it always best when it is.

I don't know about posting your resume, as I would think a better approach would be to do job searches and apply to positions that interest you. There are various places to do searches, such as Indeed. The Pikes Peak Workforce Center has programs and help if needed, as well as local job postings: Home

True.

People get a job when they are recommended to the hiiring manager by a person he/she trusts. Resumes are a dime a dozen.

It's really all about relationships.

Looking for a job at this time in history is not what it once was - and in fact, it sucks. No one wants to see you in person. Companies barely have the decency to let you know that your resume was received. Truthfully, all of those sites are about the same.

In the end, as Vision67 suggests - it's about knowing the right person, or being in the right place at the right time.

That said, one site you might want to look at is: Colorado Workforce

You have to sign up with the workforce center to use it (you can do it right on the site, I believe). A lot of these jobs will at least have contact names/and or phone numbers of real humans.

Also think about signing up with a lot of temp agencies - sometimes those jobs lead to full-time positions - and you get to introduce yourself to a real human.
