With all respect, you need to consult an attorney, not an IBB.

Default got a speeding ticket

hey guys just wondering...we had something in miami called ticket clinic..pretty much, you pay the company $40 or $50 and they will go to court for you and get the ticket dismissed and no points on your drivers license

was wondering if they have something similar in Colorado Springs? My fine is about 170 for doing 15 over.
I dont want to go to court. Id rather pay the full amount instead; but if there is an option to hire a ticket lawyer for a lower price, Id much rather do that

this is what we had in Miami, FL and it worked all the time

Just wanted to post an update with my experience so others can get an idea of what to expect:

You basically sit in a room, and depending on the violation, they pass out pre-arranged plea bargains to some of the people there. I guess it's become common knowledge that if you show up instead of paying it online or in the mail you're looking to either challenge it or get a reduced charge so they prepare for that. They reduced mine to defective headlamp based on my driving record (which is indicated on the plea bargain form too), still a 1 point hit and the same fine, but it was a non-moving violation. I thought about asking they knock it down more, but the video they show walking you through the process was a bit confusing. You had to talk to the prosecutor, not the judge for a further reduction in the charge and in points, but when the judge started calling people it sounded like some were asking him for leniency instead. Since my goal was a non-moving violation I figured this was as low as they'd go without me having a New York temper tantrum and possibly getting myself in more trouble, so I pled guilty, thanked the judge and the clerks and got out of there.

Interesting experience: BTW I was the ONLY one who showed up in a suit. Everyone else looked like they just rolled out of bed.
