I haven't received my first utility bill yet since moving here so keeping at 59 during day and 54 at night until I know what the bill looks like. My Colorado relatives say that's too low. Wondering what others keep theirs at?

I keep it around 62/63 at night and around 65-67 during the day. I know my parents keep theirs in the 70s.

I keep it at 72 and I use humidifiers to maintain about 35% relative humidity. The added humidity make a huge improvement in comfort.

65 deg. during the day, 60 at night. Anything over 65 deg. is too warm for us. In fact, I occasionally forget to bring it back up of a morning and it stays 60 all day.

Back in Missouri I am chilled at 68 deg. Go figure.

I don't know anybody who routinely keeps their house in the 50s during the winter. I'd find that way too cold for any kind of sedentary activity.

I keep my thermostat in the 66-68 range, normally, although sometimes if I'm really chilled I'll turn it up to 70. I also use a portable electric heater next to my desk (I work full-time out of my home office) if I get cold while working in preference to turning up the main thermostat, mainly because the furnace room is next to my office and it's really noisy if the blower cranks up while I'm on the phone or something like that. And, no point in heating up the rest of the house when I'm "at work".

68-70 during the day, space heater under my desk for when I'm working from home (desk is by 2 large windows that I leave curtains open during the day when home). At night, 64-65. The cats would kill me if I left it at 54 at night. Too cold for them. Wusses.
