Affordable housing complex in Colorado Springs met with resistance | Colorado Springs Gazette, News
As a resident of this area I have mixed feelings about this project. On the one hand I like the idea of seeing developers help the less fortunate on the other hand I think the location is a poor one. Its essentially far away from jobs and bus routes that these people will likely utilize. Why not locate the project in another area of the city closer to the jobs like downtown or on garden of the gods road? Any other thoughts or opinions on this.
