Really, you would be a fool to move here unless you are military.

That is why I left also. Job pay sucked!

My highest paid job was working @ the broadmoor hotel and when I quit, I went to AVX (which probably still around) and they paid the employee's like $7 an hour. Then again I was only 20 yrs old.
I left CoS and moved to Austin doing the same thing back in 1996 and got over $14 hr starting @ DELL.
I'm now working on my computer science major; show me the money!! I would never go back to CoS for job but maybe to retire. I doubt much changed. Denver IMHO is where to go man! I had a job lined up in Dec 07 in Boulder, the pay was only going to match what I get here ($70k) but decided to hold out till I pack more into my pension here

thanks for the advice.

to the person who said i'd have to live in a trailer at $400, i'm sure you didn't read my whole post. I'm living with two other roommates, so technically we can afford a 3 bedroom up to 1,200. I haven't had any issues with that.

I know that Denver probably is a better fit for me, but right now I'm just looking to get the hell out of Greeley. I graduated from college and Greeley has nothing when it comes to job opportunities. Colorado springs already seems better and I already have a few interviews set up. I'm currently single w/ no children, so I'm not necessarily looking to make upwards of 40,000. A nice paying job in a new city is better than getting paid peanuts in Greeley. Thanks for the input!

$400 a month isn't *bad* I've seen some okay places around that price
