Bummer. Was hoping their expansion to the Springs would eventually lead to a few Denver locations. I honestly don't miss much from the years we lived in Texas, but we did enjoy taking side trips to grab a chicken chilada platter when we're in the Springs.

I visited and bought a few "party tacos" on Thursdays for just 59 cents each. There was never a line. I think they did not do a good enough job of promotions.

I'm surprised that they are apparently successful in Texas. The food is no better than Taco Bell.

The platters are better than Taco Bell's stuff. Side note - the guy who created the Taco Bueno franchise also gave us, for better or worse, Casa Bonita.

Sucks that they're leaving. We often went to the one at 7970 N. Academy Blvd for items and the cheesecake thingie for a small dessert. This location was often quite busy with a drive thru line around the building.

There are no Buenos in Denver? Wow. There used to be.

I did not visit them regularly, but if I had a hankerin for a fast food taco, I'd go there ahead of The Bell. Many items were better and I liked their salsa/sauces better.

I'm surprised they are pulling out, but if you aren't hitting margins, no sense in running it into the ground. The one on Austin Bluffs didn't seem real busy, but the one of Garden of the Gods seemed pretty steady.

Bummer.

I didn't think the food was good at all. And we have actual Mexican restaurants open 24 hours, so I can't think of a reason to ever go to one (tried one in Oklahoma once). Just another fast food chain - good riddance. Though likely, just a different fast food chain will occupy the buildings.

I like Del Taco better.

I thought Taco Bueno was kinda a lame certain of that.

But, too bad for the workers.

They wasted no time. I never even heard of Taco Bueno because they aren't in my neighborhood but drove past one today and it was already shut down.

Seems to me that In and Out burgers could scoop up these prime locations for a sweet deal.
