I have never had allergies before but have spent the past two weeks sniffling and coughing. It is not a cold as I feel find otherwise. Is there something in the air here that might cause an allergic reaction?

It's probably either ragweed or sagebrush - with the latter being the likely culprit if you moved to the Springs from an area with ragweed.

Ragweed pollen.

I'm also sneezing.

Waiting for the first hard freeze to kill it!

My allergies have been acting up this week, so I'd say yes. http://www.stormsallergy.com/pollen-count-colorado.html Ragweed and Sagebrush are apparently a bit high this week.

I woke up this morning sneezing.

Then I remembered it's August.

Damn Ragweed.

Looks like the Storms Clinic pollen count link doesn't work anymore - so here's a new one that is currently working:

Ragweed, Chenopods and Sagebrush right now.
