Don’t know about Alb., but in the Phoenix area every house has a pool, and every neighborhood has a lush golf course. And they get what.... 8 inches of rain a year.

Yeah they take their water from other places that get more rain, but there is a constant battle as those places grow or experience drought and want their water back.

Easily the entire southwest could become quite sparsely populated assuming no new water is found. I am pretty interested in desalinization technology the middle east is pretty reliant on it maybe the US will invest more in that infrastructure.

I'll stop laughing after I stop crying.... the U.S. will never invest in itself again as we did in decades past. The interstate highway system will rot out from under us, as will water mains, roads, airports, transit, and all other forms of infrastructure relying on taxpayer support.

This is one of the reasons I stopped supporting political policies that are only about slashing taxes. Sometimes you have to pay up if you want the best.

Agree fully. We get what we pay for.

The enemies of our nation, internal and external, use the internet and airways to pollute our thinking so that millions of our citizens think our own government is their enemy.

People bad mouth the very government that benignly sends checks for social security, medicare, medicaid, disability, veterans benefits, farm subsidies, crop insurance, dairy price supports, fifty thousand tax loopholes and so much more. Not to mention the services we get to manage the airways, waterways, infectious outbreaks, environmental protections, national defense, coast guard, and hundreds more needed activities.

Basically, nothing changes in this country until people die and/or there's a massive emergency and/or a bunch of billionaires buy off politicians.

Insanity rules.
