All you Texans and Californians coming over with that "rushed" life style and driving habits are seriously putting people at risk. Love it when someone books 80MPH down the 55 in powers passing by 3 cops with radars.

Got together with a few people to complain about all the dangerous speeders in powers and tutt and police dept said they are listening and will be putting out more radars. let your insurance GO UP!!

Just too bad, they dont do anything about tailgaters

Correct. This is not a problem that was imported from Texas or California or anyplace else, it is a local issue. And it is pretty bad here, especially the speeding on all roads, some of the worst I have seen in my life, and I have lived in lots of different states, including Texas.

The north part of Powers I'm fine with people going 75-80 since it's almost freeway but the southern part does need the speed kept below 65 since there's too many intersections and turns where serious accidents could turn into fatalities with the increase in speed.

I try to stay away from driving on Powers. I've experienced too many super aggressive drivers pushing traffic by tailgating. Mostly they're driving giant pickups with turbo diesel engines.

I've always wondered where are the cops when you need them.

To avoid Dragons, don't go where they be.

I moved here from Texas and the crazy driving was the first thing I noticed about this city. I believe it is a local issue...absolutely no enforcement. Glad to see some cops on Austin Bluffs yesterday.

Agree completely. Lack of rules enforcement encourages more bad behavior. At some point (hopefully soon), the bad behavior reaches a tipping point, and enforcement turns around.

Police cars are few and far between here.

I should add that this probably won’t get better since all our tax dollars are going to the firefighters union.
