From Briargate Parkway, the location is about 1.5 miles to the north, and on the right.

D'mom, ya gotta see that house on Deergrass Place, in the Pine Creek area .... it's The Griswold's on crack.

For lovers of model trains, the Fine Arts Center will have trains running in two galleries until 03 Jan 2016.

Ok I'll have to look up how to get there. We have 1 night to look at lights (this Sat) so any suggestions on what to hit in 1 night would be great. My family doesn't feel the Christmas spirit right now because the move and packing is dominating everything so I'd like to do something Christmassy for the kids.

I-25, exit 151 (Briargate Pkwy) go east (uphill) about a half mile, left onto Chapel Hills (traffic light), go straight through two traffic roundabouts, then a right onto Deergrass, you'll see it right away.

Just after exiting the interstate you'll cross Voyager Pkwy and then pass the Promenade Shops which has a lot of good eats and shopping, worth a stop if you come up to see the lights on Deergrass. Some of the eats are Bird Dog BBQ, Ted's Montana Grill, P F Changs, Panera, Cal Pizza Kit, Biaggi's Ital, Garbonzo's, Qdoba, Starbucks, etc.

Default where can I see Christmas lights or walk around?

Hey all, was wondering is there anywhere that sets up christmas lights during december such as 16th street mall in denver? something not too far away from COS.

either walking around or driving around is great. Somewhere to eat and possibly have dinner with my wife and enjoy all the decorations.

any ideas? probably first time going out during Christmas too since we barely get out much

Time to trot our this annual thread and update it as necessary for this year. IIRC the Gazette usually has an article with a map on the most amazing displays.

Downtown's annual festival of lights is held the first Saturday of December around 5:30PM.

This year the Pikemasters Model Railroad Club Holiday Open house is - December 2nd/3rd . Saturday 10AM to 6PM, Sunday 10AM to 4PM. They are in the basement of City Auditorium, down two flights of stairs, with no elevator is this historic old building.

Apparently Seven Falls has holiday lights this year. The Botanic Gardens in Denver and the Denver Zoo also. Our zoo usually does it too.

The Old North End is usually pretty well light up and Dec 9th is the Holiday Historic Home Tour, if you want to see the inside of some of them done up with seasonal decorations.
