In-N-Out Burger to be on prized corner in north Colorado Springs | Colorado Springs Gazette, News

"The ultra-popular California chain's first Colorado restaurant will be built squarely on the southeast corner of InterQuest and Voyager parkways in the Victory Ridge mixed-use development on Colorado Springs' far north side, according to documents submitted to city planners this week.

In-N-Out announced in November it would expand to Colorado. Officials of Westside Investment Partners, Victory Ridge's suburban Denver developer, said its project was chosen for the chain's first state restaurant, along with a distribution and patty production facility and offices. The restaurant, however, won't open until 2020, they have said."

This chain has somewhat of a cult following in California. Expect huge lines when it opens.

Cool. That's the corner where the defunct Colorado Crossings development has been resurrected.

I have a feeling it will be crowded for awhile for some reason IN-N-Out has this ridiculous cult following when plenty of other burger places are just as good Smashburger Fiveguys etc.

Yes. The line will be out the parking lot and down the street. I don't get the draw either. No hamburger will ever be a "life-changing experience" for me. Taco Bueno, however, is a different story (kidding).

We have them here in Tucson. They were hot when they first opened (there are three that I know about), but it's cooled down quite a bit. Some people were kind of turned off by the Bible passages on the bottom of the cups We also have Smashburger but the most popular here is Freddy's.

Bible Passages?

So I guess they are the Chick-fil-A of Hamburgers?

Is that why they chose a spot across the street from the New Life Megachurch?

I think they picked a good location.

They are always busy, no matter what time of day you go. Get everything you can animal style, totally worth it. I'm just disappointed that the only one is gonna be way up north. Put one downtown!!

There will be plenty of other locations. With them opening a distribution center to support the market, you can be assured that this is just the start.

Double Double Animal Style with a vanilla or chocolate shake. Love it. I don't eat burgers that much these days but my preference would be Freddy's. Smashburger or Five Guys just don't do it for me.

I will not be trekking down to the Springs when it In N Out opens. If we are down there I will hit it up.
