We are thinking of relocating to the Colorado Springs area, but first I need to find a good private school for my daughter. She is 8 and has ADHD and Tourette Syndrome. Are there any particular private schools or districts that I should look into? Thanks!

Off the top of my head I can't think of private schools here that cater to students with challenges. Public schools generally seem more equipped for that. Is there a particular reason you are asking about private schools instead of public?

She was in public school in our current state and classrooms had about 25 kids. She didn’t do well and got behind, even with an IEP. She transferred to private school last year and has had amazing results. I just think she needs more 1 on 1 attention, which is hard to get in the public setting.

You might look into homeschool pods. I am not sure how much smaller our private school class sizes are, but I am sure some of them are smaller - but prices can be pretty extreme for some of them, too. I believe the best-ranked private schools in our city are the Fountain Valley School (high school only) and The Colorado Springs School, fwiw, and both have been around a long time, also. They are also in the top for the entire state. But that doesn't mean these would be the best fit for your child and may not be affordable. There are also a number of religious private schools around town.
