Hi, I was wondering if anyone else went to the tea party today? What did you think? Anybody have an idea of how many people showed up? This is not a political thread and I do not want it to become one. I just want to know if anyone else came to it and what they thought.

I have been wondering about the turnout for the CO springs tea party as well. Denver is estimated at 5000, ft. Collins was estimated at 1000, Loveland at 1500-2000.

Sorry I can't answer the question, but I hear on the San Antonio Forums that theirs was a huge success and large turnout surprised even the gung-ho. I have seen estimates reported early by the local news stations that it was near 10,000.

Is "near" 10,000 a lot of people in San Antonio when President Obama got close to 20,000 people in Pueblo?

I heard from some local news media source (can't remember which one) that around 1500 turned out, and someone that attended said it was estimated at 2500 (that was via Twitter).

KOAA just reported these numbers:

Colorado Springs - About 1,000 people.

That's a small turn-out for Pueblo...everyone must be busy planning for their new "downtown" or something.

It was reported on KKCO, channel 11 news in Grand Junction that the tea party at Lincoln Park was just over 4000 people.
