I honestly don't know of any here, but I'm not a realtor, just a retiree who's been a resident on the far north end for 3.5 years.

Quite a few people here, especially retired USAF and Army personnel who love the area.

Think I have brought this up before too. It is a shame that we don't have more retirement communities because our weather is mild year round. The couple places I can think of don't resemble the retirement communities that I am used to seeing in AZ, FL, and TX. There is one down in Security behind the Diamond Shamrock off of Leta, across the street from the Methodist church. I believe there are a couple more, one in the Broadmoore area and another up by the Garden of the Gods. But I don't think any of them are mobile home parks, more like apartments and townhomes.
For example:
Holiday Retirement - Sunridge Main Page - 5820 FLINTRIDGE DRIVE, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80918 (719)590-1247

Agree, not really any here. We've a very good climate given that it's not the insane heat of Phoenix, where we've seen the various iterations of the "Sun City" type of developments made famous by the Del Webb company, now a part of Pulte Homes.

Colorado has a tax exemption for pensioners and a mild climate in the Front Range but for some reason not attracted a Sun City style village, though there may be one east of Denver near the airport. I've also discussed this a number of times in the forum.

There is one that has a connection to the Front Range Trail across from Kohl's on Circle (close to the Crown Plaza Hotel). Don't know the name of it off hand, but I've rode my bike through it and it seems okay.

I'm also interested in learning about 55+ mobile home parks, condos, townhomes, etc. in Colorado Springs so looking forward to tracking this thread. I'm planning an extended visit and looking for a rental within walking distance of a paved trail. Appreciate any area suggestions to use as I search for rentals.

Thanks.
