We'll be on Colorado Springs for my daughter's 7th birthday in November. We'll take her to the zoo during the day, but I was looking for a fun dinner for her. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Best I can come up with are Mr. Biggs (http://www.becooldoright.com/home.php - broken link) and a place called ITZ (http://www.itzusa.com/colorado/index.htm - broken link).

You can eat at the zoo - and if you contact management you may even be able to have your own barbecue/picnic there.

For other places - Fargos, Itz, Chucky Cheese (sp) are popular with many kids

My husband always take my kids out for their special birthday lunch to anywhere of their choice. Don't ask me why, but almost always they choose Solos so they can eat and play on the airplane. I wouldn't say thier food is wonderful- its okay and I wouldn't say it is bad. Its just plain like Village Inn or somewhere like that. But, getting to eat on an airplane must be a treat! They once treated my son to a Solo's T-shirt. My older daughter (now 12) is venturing to more place like hibachi where they cook the food for you. She wanted her next lunch to be at Mona Lisa. And one other time my daughter choose Joe's Crab Shack because she wanted to put on the hula skirt and flap around the room with menus while they sang happy birthday to her.
But, my vote is eating on the plane...check out Solos Solos Restaurant Colorado Springs Dining, Drinks, Catering (http://www.coloradoeats.com/Solos/ - broken link)

Question Indoor Birthday Party Ideas

Can anyone recomend a good indoor party location in either the Springs or Monument for a 5 year old? We would like to keep the cost under $100-$125 if possible and plan on keeping it around 5-6 kids total.

We had a party for our 9yo daughter at Mr Biggs. I think it was around $125 for 6. They had a blast. There are 2 locations, so if you use them, I'd recommend the one off Corporate Drive. The one price allows the use of minature golf, bumber cars, go-karts, giant hoppers/slides, laser tag, and a little make-believe town.

I have also done Brushstrokes off of Rockrimmon. It is pottery place. Kids get to pick a piece of pottery and paint it. You can do cake and ice cream too. I threw a surprise party there this year for my 12 yr old. They are very accomodating.
