We recently moved to colorado springs from washington state. I have a 5th grade son and and 8th grade daughter looking to play basketball. Any suggestions where to start looking? They have both played at a competitive level, but I don't necessarily want to give my life to basketball.

Call the schools your kids will attend and ask the coaches for information about club leagues. Also contact the park and rec. I think SoCo league is starting soon (Southern Colorado).

There maybe something with the YMCA down there. Also check out JAM Inc - Colorado Youth Basketball Leagues. Some of the teams come up to Denver to play in the leagues up hear.

Default Colorado Premier Basketball

In the Denver/Littleton area is Colorado Premier Basketball Club. It is run by a former NBA player and has a few college coaches running the teams. Creates some great players. I think they had one team play for a club national championship last year.

My fourth grade son is going to start playing on Peterson AFB next month..we aren't military either. It's $55.00 for I believe 6 weeks...may be 8 weeks. Most of the schools have basketball as well. If your kids have played competition, the YMCA may not be challenging enough for them...just my opinion though!
