I am a beer enthusiast and home brewer who will be moving into CSprings early next year. I was wondering what breweries are worth going to and which are not.

Bristol is very good. Their Laughing Lab is a local favorite, and they make several seasonals that are terrific (Venetucci Pumpkin Ale should be out soon). They earmark a certain amount of proceeds on those seasonals toward local charities, like Venetucci Farm or the Smokebrush Theater.

From a Brew Pub standpoint, I like everything that Rock Bottom and Phantom Canyon serve up.

I just moved here and have made a few brews myself. I plan to start it back up when I get my house finished. I think I may check out Trinity tonight.

Ok Trinity it is. I just sold my .5BBl Brutus and plan on building something comparable once I'm in town. Keep your fingers crossed for AZ to keep it's housing market on the rise.

See you guys soon

There are more breweries in this town than you can shake a stick at... Phantom Canyon, Judge Baldwins, to name a few that have not been mentioned.

Lucky for you, Colorado has become the Mecca of micro-brewed beer. The selection of high quality, great tasting local beers! It's a beer drinker's state.

All the breweries listed previously are great. Stay away from Judge Baldwin's downtown. They call themselves a microbrewery, but they're not...and the beer is very mundane.

I went to Trinity Brewing a few days ago. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. I tried two of their house brews and both were quite enjoyable. They had 35 brews on tap. I tried the Soul Cheese Soup and it was simply amazing. I'm going back there tonight to try some more beer and indulge myself on some tasty treats. I might even get enough liquid courage to talk to a girl or two.
