My tailor/dry-cleaner was murdered in her shop on Monday....shot in the head in her store of Maizeland and Academy. I can't believe a nice, lil lady was murdered like that! Jesus. Her car was stolen....a gold Nissan Pathfinder.

Why would anyone do such a cowardly thing to a sweet lil' old lady? What is this fricken world coming to?

This breaks my heart. A lady minding her business and in broad day light? I agree, there seems to be too many people taking what they want and hurting people. She was only 56...pretty young to me. I also think our gun laws are way too relaxed.

Gun laws won't fix that problem. Bad guys will always have guns or other weapons.

How about we actually throw the book at the bad guys instead of slapping them on the wrist?

Here we go with the gun control again.....No amount of any gun laws would have prevented this CRIMINAL and MURDERER from doing what he did.

Have you thought about the possiblity, that if she had been armed herself, she may not be dead today?

That being said, she was a very sweet old lady. Very tragic.

Amen to that, and a caution for all of us in this increasingly lawless and violent world.

How horrible. I know those who live there will understand when I say, things like that don't happen all the time in COS. Typically crime there involves those involved in law breaking activities- not like this woman who isn't.
Prayers for her family and clients.
