It's going to be really very hard to find anything nice for $700/mth here. My brother was renting a very old 1 bedroom house for $600/mth, and the roof just caved in.

You might consider looking at Woodland Park. It's up the mountain pass from the Springs and may be closer to your price range. Another benefit is that it's usually cooler than in the Springs - sometimes by 20 degrees.

It's only about a 20 drive to / from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs. Crime is low and it's got pleanty of churches, schools, and some quaint places to eat (plus many chains). It can offer more of a mountain feel than down in town.

OMG I am wondering if I am lameing out. I bought a fourplex in 80915 and I wonder I rent the 2 bedrooms for $550, is that way to cheap???
