I am a single mother with a 11 year old son. I have been wanting to move to CO for years and I think my mid-life crisis has hit. I want the peacefulness of CO and I need some help with where to start.
I want to learn new things skiing, snowboarding. My son too...
I hope to find someone too to share my new life.
Help me find my dream location....

Thanks
CJ

I am from FL, but moving to Fort Collins. It seems like a REALLY nice area. I was there in May 2006 and loved it to death.

I am just hoping to find legal jobs in that area..... Otherwise, it is all good!

Just stay away from Greely, as the illegal immigrants have been commiting lots of crimes and home prices are going down because of that.

Hey there CJ-

Well, if you want my two cents. I love Colorado Springs. It is a great city for outdoors stuff.... What do you and your son like to do? What are your hobbies? BASHEP

Hi Bashep

Believe it or not we don't do much here in Atlanta. I would like to get my son out though. He is wanting to learn to snowboard since he is a skateboarder now. Me I just need to get out in the open more, the city stinks.

Hi Christian 11

I know all about illegals there are all over Atlanta

How are the jobs? I have never done this before so it will all be new and I want to be prepared in advanced. I will have money when I get there but I want to make sure I can support us shortly there after.

Thanks guys for all your help.

This is a new experience and I know it will work out. I will let you know how it turns out. We are planning to finish 5th grade first before we move.

Smile Fort Collins

As you will find out if you research, Fort Collins is one of the best cities in the world to live in. Fort Collins is not to big but not to small with a population of about 125,000. Fort Collins has been ranked number 1 in mens magazine as the best city to live in. I srongly suggest that you move to Fort Collins, you wont regret it.

Fort Collins and Colorado Springs are VERY conservative towns, especially Colorado Springs. If you are a Christian Conservative you will fit right in.

cjwillis,

You have not provided much detail in terms of what you are looking for in terms of housing and your job needs.

Anywhere along the front range will give you easy enough access to ski resorts. The major job centers are Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and the Denver Tech Center (south of Denver), but it really depends on what type of job you are looking for.
