Today unofficially it was right around the 100 degree mark all afternoon making this the third day over 100 in Pueblo.

Sunday is a interesting day. The forecast high is 106. If the forecast holds I would not be surprised if unofficially it hits 110 in the city. Plus it looks like the heat wave will last at least till next Friday.

So today the unofficial high was 102 making this the 4th day this year and 2nd day in a row in this current heatwave.

The unofficial high I got in Pueblo was 101 making this the 5th day this year above 100 and 3rd day in a row for the current heatwave.

That sounds like hell. Once the temps hit the high 80's I am seriously uncomfortable and grumpy! I am happiest in the mid 70's

Re: 100 degree temps, we're in for it for a while. What's making it worse is the smoke coming from central New Mexico regarding the fire in the "dog Canyon" area of Edgewood/Estancia/ Mountainair. Very dry, very hot, very dangerous.

Agreed and the smoke makes it look hotter then it is.

As a side note the longest day of the year is Monday so not only is it possible the hottest of the year but it is occurring on the longest days days of the year making it seem even hotter.

98° was the official temp for Pueblo today. May get 100+ over the next two days, we'll see.
