I'm not into skiing, so I'm just trying to get a feel for what you folks do all winter besides skiing. I know Colorado is a state that draws active people, so I assume you all are not in the house all winter?

People hike, bike, run, roller blade, skate board, fly kites, hang glide, climb for a few suggestions.

Not everyone in Colorado is a skier, snowshoer, or climber.
Some of us (at least five or so!) follow the urgings of the seasons and use wintertime to focus inward. Like Nature, we enter into a bit of a dormant period -- until the days lengthen and we send out new shoots for the projects, programs, and outer-directed activities of Spring and Summer!
And then, of course, there are hot springs...

I lived in ski towns and in winter it is more limiting if you don't ski. There are a few other things to do, but the weather and short days makes it difficult to do anything outside. I mostly worked.
