My brother has put in for a job and may be getting a position with Summit County, so where do the locals live, if you aren't able to buy a house for the first couple of years ? We have looked online, but can't seem to find any apartments in Frisco, or in that area ? Are there any ? Or does anyone know of any websites we can go to , to find information . couldn't find any on rent.com, apartmentguide, etc.
thank you for any help !

Craigslist for the High Rockies: craigslist: high rockies classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events and The Summit Daily Newspaper: Breckenridge & Summit County Colorado | SummitDaily.com News are where most of the rental ads are.

I see that you are in Florida, if he doesn't have experience driving in snow or a car with great tires he should live as close as possible to his job, there is a great public transportation system in the area also. The cost of living is very expensive in Summit County, it can be a shock to some when you realize that a 1 bedroom lockoff apartment at $1,000 can be a good deal.

Where do the locals in Frisco live? In Frisco.

Frisco is what i call a "support town" for the ski industry in Summit County. It's where a lot of locals live, eat, shop, etc.

You should have no trouble finding an apartment right now or condo. Property management agencies also have listings too.

The time where it is tougher and more expensive to find housing is November to April.
