Barely close to NYC water? Like the Hudson River? Please.

I know my water comes from Twin Lakes near Mt. Elbert.

Where exactly does your "Pueblo Water" come from? You do understand the law of gravity and all that, right?

Flashforward to Pro;

I actually don't think this looks too bad (you have to scoot the map over to the west and south a bit... by the pond near the golf course. That would be as close to a Pueblo West downtown as any... across from the library). Pueblo West doesn't have a downtown. Neither does the Mesa nor does Colorado City. It's the County! I actually like Pueblo's downtown. I even like Northern and parts of 4th Street, Prairie, the Blvd, etc.

I thought we were talking about H2O . I like Pueblo. I think that Pueblo is a nice town to live near. But for the rest of Southeastern Colorado, P-Dub is not a bad stand-alone town for many things. The schools here are better than Pueblo. The water is better. You have our runnoff, but you also got the Fountain to deal with. We're closer to Canon City. We house the Pueblo Reservoir... one of the nicest reservoirs in all of Colorado. You should embrace being the neighbor of Pdub. I'm looking for a pic I took of a Pueblo West game... a game at Investco at Mile High Stadium to be exact. Would sure like to see South, East, Central, Centennial, or County do this for a change... as in this millenium.

Well there ya go. I guess Pueblo wins.

Pueblo West:
Unfriendly, dirt, and yucky water.

Pueblo:

That is not a planned downtown but a industrial park. The so called downtown is by the Vectra Bank and where a lot of shopping is. I just think it can and should be better kind of like you see in other suburban towns that have a cute little downtown that is mainly for shopping and restaurants.

I am laughing reading these posts....I've lived in Pueblo West since 1985, moved to a new home, still in Pueblo West, in 2005. No plans to move elsewhere.
Pueblo is fine too but I like it here....to each his own I guess.

No. It was at the Riverwalk. I took pictures but can't upload them on my computer at home so on Monday I will at work and post them in the Riverwalk thread.

This is strange...Pueblo and Pueblo West are pretty much the same ciy...right? I mean, a metro area is basicly one large city. Pueblo is a relatively small town, so how is it that it could be so much different?

Pueblo West is Pueblo's largest suburb. So as in most cities the suburbs are different then the principal city in many ways.

Pueblo West is not a suburb of Pueblo. Pueblo West is an independent communnity that is very different from Pueblo.

Saying that Pueblo West is a suburb of Pueblo is like saying that Bayfield is a suburb of Durango.
