My husband and I have been taking about moving to Colorado ever since we were married in '06. We are finally making the move this next week. My husband is going first so he can find us a home or apartment for rent..he will return the following week to get us and move of of our stuff. I am a little nervous, but excited! My kids will be very lucky to call Colorado home. I guess my question is..does anyone know where we could find a good rental home, manufactured home, townhome or condo in the Golden, Lakewood or Arvada areas?? I have looked but am coming up with nothing. We are looking for pet friendly, large two bedroom or three, 1-2 bath home. Our rent max is $850. Any help or leads would be appreaciated!

Check out the classifieds. This is in between seasons for rentals with school out. Not sure you'll find much for 850 you will like. Try 1400 for a small place.

Yeah $850 won't get you squat here. Count on spending at leasr $1200 a month for anything decent.

You might find a small condo for that, but doubtful anything with a yard. One of the purposes of the first trip should be to get a feel for Colorado living. Do not set your price before you get here.

You're welcome. I have moved several times and learned that the "hard" way! Thought I'd pass on some of my life experience, lol.

Yeah, i assume they're a married family, with dogs, not a single 22 year old male.
