I saw it once here in Denver back in 2007-2008, it rains little sharp ice droplets, and freezes to your windshield. And to make things more interesting, it snowed on top of that frozen mess, so yeah, I had a icy mess to clean off before I left.

It never materialized. Its sunny but cold. I am so ready for the next snow storm, but it looks like I will have a little wait.

Sunshine and 50 degrees. I've been splitting firewood for the past 3 hours and am sweating like it's summer.

3 inches of snow last night in Delta, and it appears power went out for a time. Paonia got 6 inches, Hotchkiss 4.5 inches, Eckert 5 inches, Ridgway 1 inch, Ouray 2 inches, Montrose 6 inches, Norwood 8.5 inches, Grand Junction half an inch. Seems to be an interesting storm track. Clearing this morning.

Pueblo might get some snow on Monday. This is the weather discussion from the NWS in Pueblo:

A storm system off the coast of the northern Baja Peninsula will move across southeast New Mexico and into the Texas Panhandle by Monday night. As it clips by southern Colorado Monday and Monday night, there will be the potential for heavy snow across portions of southern Colorado, mainly south of highway 50 and along and east of the southern I-25 corridor. There is still some uncertainty in the strength and track of the upper low. Any subtle shift in the storm track could lead to more or less snowfall for southeast Colorado. At this time however, it appears that the axis of heavier snow will stay to the south of Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Please stay tuned to the latest forecasts concerning this developing storm.

I will keep my fingers crossed that the low pressure goes over Albuquerque (a famous Albuquerque low) so Pueblo gets a lot of snow!

Here is the latest weather map from the NWS in Pueblo:

This looks like the low pressure could set up over Albuquerque. Because of this I think Pueblo will get 5-10 inches of snow. With the strong winds that would produce white out conditions. This is more then is predicted from the NWS but I have seen this many times and these are the storms they can underestimate. As soon as the snow starts I will post my first video.

Here is the official forecast from the NWS in Pueblo:
