I drove up I-25 from 270. As I hit Northglenn, it started to snow. This was ~ 7:30 PM.

No, it was more a gut feeling. I remember one year when I lived in South Texas, it seemed we were always getting cold fronts during Friday night football. And while cold fronts are random, it seemed to me that we were getting more mid-week fronts this year, at least the stronger ones. So I went with the last week of October mid-week. We did get snow on Oct. 8th. But funny how this is Denver's first "official" snow. Now, I can't say much about the winning lotto #'s, but I figure a 32 will be in it.

Am watching Fox31 over here in GJ, looks like the mountain areas are getting it good. The area with the most moisture looks like Estes Park with 15 inches.

At most, so far, only 3 inches here on the far northern end of COLO SPGS, across the valley from the USAF Academy. Snow is light to almost non existent at this time. Nothing on sidewalks, driveways or streets but water.

Over here in GJ, just a little bit of rain to make the trails muddy.

Just a little east of GJ there are some issues. KKCO 11 news reported a rockslide eastbound I-70 east of Palisade coming into DeBeque canyon. C-DOT has re-opened it. Vail Pass on the other hand is closed for now according to the report.

The canyonsides are so unstable along that part of I-70 that all it takes is 3 drops of rain to cause a rockslide. I wonder what it's like going up 65.
