Ok so after this fall like storm I could not wait any longer to start this thread. Now I know it only got in the 40's for the low but I think that the first snow could come early and thought it would be fun if we made predictions for when we thought the first snow of the season would hit your town. I am going to start for Pueblo.

I say it will be early, around October 15th.

I place a wager on November 10 for Denver. Last year it didn't snow until November. We were in a La Nina pattern then and we still are!

Down into the low 50's here at night, snow in the high country. After this insanely hot summer I am ready for winter. Anyway I think it might be a tad milder in Delta than it is in Ridgway.

Pikes Peak got a major dump of snow the past few days, was able to see it this morning when the clouds finally lifted. Quite a sight.

That would be my guess as well for Denver. Actually, I loved last October and it felt like actual Fall. I wish it wouldn't snow here in October... or Apr/May either! That's just so wrong!

I'm really hoping we get another year of awesome fall weather like we did last year. But I won't hold my breath. This morning was sure chilly IMO. There was frost on my car's back window and the fog was really thick. I think it's going to snow around my birthday in mid October. I hope I'm wrong!

I am hoping for September and early October to have great fall like weather with some nice rain storms. Then once the middle of October comes I would like the first snow and I would like a major storm around Halloween.

Hmmm. I'm guessing an early start too. I think the last week of October.

Considering we didn't get snow in Denver until November, but it did get below freezing before then in October. I say October 26th will be Denver's first snow. But I kid you not, it will be on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
