I live in The United States of America and no religion is "dominating" here.

I live in Colorado and no religion is "dominating", that is controlling.

More correctly the question should be, which religion is the most "dominant", that is the more predominate.

A religious denomination may be dominant and try to dominate but dominating our society by religious beliefs is a violation of our laws and our core beliefs as a nation.

You could argue that a dominant religious denomination is dominating by virtue of being predominate. These dominant religions and those aggressive religious god believers dominating behaviors are rigorously and quickly denied by the more dominant believers in "the separation of church and state".

Do you think these groups are mutually exclusive??

Christian. Lots of Roman Catholics in Colorado too.

There are many people who may ascribe themselves as christian and some may attend church regularly. Their real belief is just a need of the social support that churches give to people. Most people have only a superficial knowledge of the religion and really do not care--as long as it serves to make them think that their lives are better, essentially they are closet atheists. So, I would say the dominate religion, anywhere, is atheistic apathy to any gods.

We've answered the OP's question, time to close this one before it attracts out of state posters who seek out certain topics to post their rants.

For religious matters of a general nature or broad scope, I refer everyone to the Religion forum.
