The only Topanga Canyon I'm aware of is on the other side of Malibu in California. My husband lived there for several years. It is a an area inhabited by mostly liberal hippies at this point. Although my husband and I lean more toward the right, we go nearly every year to the Topanga Days Country Fair during Memorial Day weekend to listen to one of our favorite bands (and look at interesting people!) We also purchase some of the best-smelling natural soaps ever. Lots of interesting vendors, cool music all day.

What this has to do with this thread, I have no idea.

Sure, it may take a longer but you will be safer and you can see more because you will not have to worry about the unfamiliar roads and highways.

Topango Canyon ??? interesting but no cigar. not of this topic.
I'd agree that the light rail is a step in the right direction for the front range. It's no MARTA (the ATL), but it attempts to provide for mass transit for the future to come. The "Beltway" that the Metro area is attemping with C-470 and E-470 is, although already obsolete, also a step in the right direction.

The smog pics are or should be on-topic to the OP as he's from that area. It was put in there to point out that someone from his background should find no problem driving around the Metro area compared to SoCal.
