I know there is a difference between saying I think cannabis should be legalized & being willing to do something to make it happen. I just remembered re-legalize cannabis was the #1 request coming in to the whitehouse.gov/ site. So I was unpleasantly shocked when Gary Johnson got 1%. It's almost like potheads don't mind being under the threat of arrest all the time? Guess I'm just trying to understand how people think. I'm upset I'm in a state where voters have no say on this issue, and moving really isn't doable.

I really hope those in power let this new law be honored & when other states see all the taxes they make from it, that others will follow.

I personally enjoy marijuana. The best way to describe my use is the way you would describe a very moderate drinker who only has a glass of wine or two after work.

A perfectly sane way to unwind.

I was thinking of opening a ganja cafe here but then I'd have to deal with the public.

You could let someone else run it.

But not for recreational use, right? Tell me I'm wrong!

Was reading through this thread, had a lot of laughs. Anyone remember Aspen Taxis? They were a full service outfit if you were in the loop. They even made pickups and deliveries from Pitkin to the metro outside of the airport if the wink.wink. fair was viable. You ever hear a transport van, limo or cab driver ask , "indica or sativa?" A few times I actually even ended up getting a ride to Aspen. hmmmm. I think they mainly provide transportation today.

I'm the opposite. I dont smoke very often but when I do, which is usually about once a month, I get pretty toasted. Life just builds up in my head and the only way I've found to relieve the pressure is to smoke out. Is it me or does this thread have more pages, 67 at the time of this post, then any other thread on CD?

El Paso county banned the sale of pot in unincorporated parts of the county. Now I am interested to see what the cities do in El Paso county.........

This is from KKTV:

El Paso County Commissioners voted Tuesday to ban the sale of marijuana for recreational purposes in unincorporated parts of the county.
