We moved to Louisville, near Boulder last year. It was recently picked as the 3rd best place in the entire country to raise a family. We are happy with the Boulder Valley Schools . The people are super friendly. We have 2 kids 14 and 11 and they both love it here. We moved from Louisiana and it's so great to be out of the South.

I just saw a job for cabinet makers the other day in the coloradoan. It is the paper in Fort Collins. You should have no problems finding a place to rent here for 1400/month. There are also smaller towns around if you prefer a smaller community.

My grandpa worked for a cabinet shop in Loveland for many, many years. It's a nice place to live. It's close to Ft. Collins which is great and it's about 45 minutes from the north side of Denver. Loveland is finally starting to get up to speed with the stores they've been lacking for so long. They've also got a great new mall on the very east side of town just off the highway. There's a ton of restaurants that have just opened and that are still going in as well as some great shops and a movie theater. They do outdoor movies there, have concerts and in the winter have an outdoor skating rink. It's really cool.

I work in Westminster and there is a TON of stuff for kids to do there. The great thing about Westminster is it's 15 -20 min. outside of Denver and is close to a million other towns like Broomfield, Thornton, Northglenn, Boulder, and many more. Thornton is probably the most affordable area to buy a house. Housing in Westminster is getting pricey because they're almost built out. Broomfield too has become a very popular place to live but it's great because it's still got a small town feel but the amenities of a bigger city. The best mini golf place in the world is in Westminster. It's called Adventure Golf and your kids would love it! There's also Water World which is a really cool water park. There's the Westminster Promenade too with tons of things to do. You can't go wrong with most of the cities north of Denver and in Northern Colorado.

The Loveland area sounds great!! We are so excited and can't wait to get there hopefully by october!! How is the Housing Market in that area?? We are going to rent for the 1st year until we get a feel for the area. When is the first snow fall for the Loveland area usually? Thanks so much for the info it has really helped us make an informed decision!

I actually had to turn the heat on the other night because it got down in the 40s. We dont actually get real snow until mid October but, the weather has been very weird this year. We had 3 weekends in a row last winter with two to four feet every weekend! It sucked! shovel, shovel, shovel! I had popeye arms I live just south of Loveland. Its a nice town, lots of growth. GOODLUCK!!

I just saw on the news last night that the average first frost is October 1st. Probably mid October is the first snow though sometimes not until the end or first of November. Depends on the year but this year we have had quite a bit of moisture so I think the snow will come sooner. Loveland area is very nice, you will really like it. Housing market is slow for sellers but great time for buyers. Lots to pick from and you can get some good deals right now.

Hello Mommy of 4
I live in Loveland and am loving it. It is a great place to be with my family. There is a lot of sunshine, it does get more cold than what I am used to compared to the west coast, but I do not miss all the rain. If you ever want advise on some of my favorite places to visit and good communities to rent, just let me know.
