Nary a flake in the GJ area, though we had a real good rain a couple nights ago in Fruita. Snow level on the Bookcliffs and to a lesser extent on the Monument (Glade Park area) is 6500 feet.

HH...that was indeed a very pleasant rain the other day. I'd like to see alot more of that. During one span of about 10 seconds, I happened to notice a few heavy wet snowflakes thrown into the mixture.

If Jim had frost on the lawn *in Delta*, it surely counts.

And I am going to start putting up my Christmas lights this weekend so it looks like I will be putting them up in some snow.

This is the forecast for Pueblo:

  • Saturday Night A 20 percent chance of snow after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north after midnight.
  • Veterans Day A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

I can see snow on the West Elks and the Grand Mesa. Can't see the San Juans due to clouds, but looking at the Ridgway cam, they have snow too. YAY!

Well, this morning I awoke to...nothing. Although the Grand Mesa and West Elks have a nice blanket of fresh snow, just a trace of rain here. Skies are clearing now out of the west. The storm that wasn't.

Delta - T rain
Hotchkiss - .20 rain
Eckert - .10 rain
Montrose - .15 rain
Ridgway - half inch snow
Norwood - 3.5" snow

Nice and sunny with a 50 degree temp @ 8:41 AM in Grand Junction. I can see what looks like a light dusting of snow on the top third of the Grand Mesa.
