In the coming weeks in months, I'm predicting people will be migrating/moving to Colorado due to the new Marijuana law. Which, may not be a good thing to the person migration here due to a law.. same way as people are drawn to Las Vegas and end up Unemployed/Homeless. Do you think this could be the same scenario in CO?

Absolutely. Both Colorado law enforcement and social service agency people that I know predict that exact outcome.

You betcha. I was thinking about buying a vaca home in NM but if this actually sticks around and makes it then CO will be where I buy my vaca home.

I commend the people of Colorado for having the balls to go against the grain. Finally a state of people that don't buy into Reefer Madness. I only hope that it works and everyone buys instead of grows. This would increase revenue at an alarming rate and would get every other state in line to get this on the next ballot. Which would force the hand of the Federal Government to change it's stance on Prohibition.

How many folks will move here thinking it's some sort of cannabis shangri-la, only to find the cost of living so prohibitively high that they can't afford to buy any pot? Have fun with that.

Plus other states will be following our lead so its not like Colorado will be the only state.

When you've grown up in DC and MD, Colorado looks downright cheap by comparison.

I'll make sure I vacation in Colorado. I have money and am not homeless.

Littleton has all the makings of becoming the Mission District.

I just hope the legislature wastes no time in putting the 15% taxation rate for marijuana on the ballot.

I don't think a state would be able to tax something that's against Federal law. The state could become an accessory to a Federal crime.
