I am looking to move to Colorado from Georgia. I'd like to be between Boulder and Denver so I can go to Boulder for Buffs games easily, and go to Denver easily. I am a RN about to be a BSN. When I complete my degree, I want to move out of the south. I am looking for an area that is not overly Liberal, has good Evangelical churches to choose from, a good fitness center gym to join, good schools for my kids, and reasonable housing costs. Also I am looking for an area that is vast majority white. Any areas that meet my criteria?

Sorry for the snarkiness, but I'm low on sleep and not feeling as diplomatic as usual, so here goes...

Has there been some sort of secret Public Service Announcement directing Republicans to move here? I think this is the fourth request I've seen today from people looking for a conservative Colorado community.

And, BTW, what exactly does "not overly liberal" mean? No gays... no illegal immigrants...no unions...no global warming believers... no war protesters...no people of color...no tolerance for dissenting opinions? I mean really, what is it exactly that you are looking to find?

With all due respect, I doubt that's what the poster meant. If he did, he can look up that information on the city, county, & state websites.

It means not overflowing with liberals. I guess I should have said a Conservative area. I prefer to be around like minded people and do not prefer to live amongst Libs. I agree with Michael Savage, Liberalism is a mental disorder.

I suspected as much. Thanks for clarifying that "not overly liberal" means white, Christian and upper-middle class. Now that we all know what you're looking for, you're sure to receive a number of suggestions. Good luck in your search for WASP utopia.

The following thread should answer your questions about the political climates of various counties in Colorado.

Most politically conservative area in CO?

Wait a minute my criteria is not unusual. I am a white conservative Christian that wants to live around the majority who is the same. How is that unrealistic? I guess I could have been politically correct and worded it differently, but that is not my style.

I'm also a Christian, but Democrat and really not interested in helping someone who has labeled me as "mentally disordered" perpetuate the idea that white Christians should band together in exclusionary communities.

I'm done here. Good luck in your search.

No offense here, and I am FAR from his definition of a conservative (because mine is more like Infinite says... which also means churches stay the {CENSORED} out of government policies), but how many posts have been about people looking to live around "Africans", or other such terms? If that's ok to ask, why isn't it ok to ask to live around "whites"?

Just wondering?
