We are a black/white-European family with two little kids (1 and 3 years old), wanting to relocate.
We are currently living in Texas (way too humid) and missing the outdoors.
We are very into green living, healthy living, outdoors. We would love to live close to a bigger city (Denver?) but we don't want to live in a big city. We are thinking about more like a small town that has everything we need (grocery stores, parks, schools etc). We also would love if the town has lots of outdoor activity to offer.
The house prices should also be affordable.
I know, it sounds like a fairy tail city
But I'd like to hear some of your thoughts and ideas. Maybe something close to what we are looking for is out there

I don't know what exactly your looking for but Pueblo is very open to mixed families. We have all the amentias you are looking for and its only a 90 minute drive to Denver. The downside is right now its hard to find a job as the employment rate is about 10%.

Disagree. An hour and 50 minutes between rush hours and way more than that during rush hours and weekends, and during road construction which is a constant when the weather is good, and then there's bad weather to think about.

I am always going to Denver for Bronco games, musicals and just going to see my extended family. While the driving times can vary on average its a 90 minute drive from highway 50 to the Denver Tech Center.
