66 sounds nice and balmy but that makes for a BIG contrast of temperature when the arctic blast arrives. It's gonna be bad enough going from todays high around 40 in Grand Junction to a high in the mid 20s tomorrow. Then it's gonna get seriously cold for the rest of the week. Later in the week, a high in the mid 20s will seem balmy in comparison.

Same thing here in Mesa County but with a slight wind. Roads are treacherous to say the least.

Got about 6 or 7 inches in my Grand Junction back yard. This is a major snowstorm for Grand Junction. Typical snowfall totals range from one to three inches. Also quite cold. Temp was 23 when I woke up, then an hour later it was down to 19. Currently about 22 and still snowing. ZERO predicted for tonites overnite low. Those delightful 60 degree days zipped by waaaaaaay tooooooooooo fast!
