We were just on the "other side" of the snow today. We received 2" overnight but it was partly sunny for most of the day. It just began to snow 15 minutes ago. Less than 10 miles west of us it snowed all day -- Eldora reported 18" at 1 pm. I've been watching and waiting for it. Forecasts range anywhere from 10-18". It's much warmer than it was a few days ago so this stuff is going to be heavy. We'll have to break out the snowblower tomorrow for the first time this winter.

Looks like around 2 ft from this storm here in CB & it's still coming down, on top of all the snow we already had. Our roof looks scary with the ice dams holding the snow up. Need some roof work. High moisture content, wet, heavy snow hard to shovel & yesterday it was a bit challenging to ski at least for little ol' me!

Looking south toward Ridgway at noon. Cdot does an amazing job at keeping HWY 550 and 62 clear. At noon I measured 12" of snow.

Very little snow in far southern Colorado, according to what I'm told. Maybe another miss in the part of the state that needs moisture the most desperately.

We only got 7.5" at our house so no need to plow. But Eldora got 23" so ... we chose the fun toys to play with this morning!

An additional 10-20" of snow forecast for my area tonight. My reports are the San Juans are getting hammered with some places over 4 feet of snow just from today. This also has a good moisture content too. AND it's supposed to snow Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday also. This is great!
