Is there a city in CO that holds a small town, neutral climate, and a forest nearby? Something like that because my siblings have been excited to move somewhere like that and i was considering maybe CO would have something like it. Also we need to live in a safe area and a low crime rate because we live near a high crime area and we always hear police sirens. Anyone know which city is similar to this?

You can probably just as easily find that in AZ, to be honest.

No. "Neutral climate" rules Colorado out right off the bat. Colorado's climate is variable, unpredictable, subject to frequent droughts, many areas--especially in the heavily populated Front Range--are subject to severe thunderstoms and hailstorms in summer (the area from Colorado Springs north through Denver to Cheyenne, WY is considered the area most prone to severe hailstorms in the United States), and severe snowstorms or blizzards occur at least once in most winters on the Front Range.

Most larger Colorado metro areas (and that is where they jobs are, not in small towns) are middling, at best, in crime ratings.

Colorado has plenty of forests, but they are also in poor health. The various species of pine beetles are killing many areas of Colorado forests at an alarming rate--measured in hundreds of thousands of acres of dead and dying trees.

For what you seek, some areas in the northern Midwest states like Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Michigan (but not anywhere around Detroit) might be a better fit. Of course, they don't have a "neutral" climate, either. Sadly, areas with benign climates also seem to be a magnet for higher crime rates. Let's face it, criminals are lazy scum that don't like to work in the cold.

What does 'neutral climate' mean? I've never heard that as a type of climate. If you have forests nearby in CO, you are typically above 6500'. Probably not the environment for a neutral climate

Neutral climate is associated with the ( N ) position on the lever that shifts between cold climates ( C ) and hot climates ( H ). On most climate shifting mechanisms the ( N ) position is the middle one.

Insights! Even better, it's an automatic shifting mechanism, fickly changing between (D) for drought, (L) for lousy, and (R) for rain.

My shifter is broken. It keeps getting caught in the TS setting (too sunny). Sometimes it jams up in the HW position (high winds) and I can't get it out. I'd like to get one with an R position but they are pretty rare in these parts.

For me, part of the joy of living in Colorado is the variable climate and extreme changes in weather. If you're looking for a small town with a forest nearby, maybe Canon City or Trinidad might work but even there you can be 70 degrees one day and below 0 the next. I lived in Arizona most of my life and Payson, Prescott, Show Low, Springerville and possibly Williams have more of a neutral climate with a forest nearby than anything in Colorado. Some of my favorite places in Colorado on the Western Slope have huge temperature differences between winter and summer. In the Grand Junction area it can easily get below 0 in the winter and over 100 degrees in the summer.

One place that I like and even considered moving to with a neutral climate and next to the forest is Susanville, California. It is in the Northeast corner of the state and the culture there is more like that of rural Oregon, Nevada and Idaho. Of course they still have to deal with the laws of the Socialist State of California. Check out La Grande, Oregon too.

How many trucks full of money are you planning to bring? You might want to visit first, there is no neutral climate in Colorado, it can be blazing hot one day, snowing the next, dust storms one day and thunderstorms the next. Low crime? Stay away from the front range then.

What you're looking for can be found in northwest Arkansas actually. Look around Fayetteville.
