That is, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. What few words capture the essence of these cities, in your way of thinking?

I would agree with this view. Denver is wide open, not only in terms of
geography, but also in its capitalistic spirit. It is wide open. By comparison,
Portland, Oregon is not wide open. It is essentially run by anti-sprawl socialist. I was hoping to get some insight into Colorado Springs, beyond
the typical "beautiful". Here are my choice words:

Fort Collins, college town, big future, expanding every day.

Loveland, cheaper alternative. Beautiful lake right in the middle of it.

Greeley, nice people, but wouldn't want to live there.

Denver, opportunity abounds. All one needs is ambition.

Pueblo, damned if I know. I am under the impression that is is comparatively impoverished, though.

Longmont, beautiful countryside! Not too crazy about the city limits.
Too many hispanics for my tastes.

Boulder, Ward Churchhill
