I hear talk of people trying to get one in downtown Pueblo. Honestly I don't really care. I like Safeway.

I had a conversation with a Whole Foods' real-estate searcher.
He said: "needs a certain number of college graduates within a certain radius"
I was trying to promote the intersection of Wadsworth and 52nd with its 1 billion cars passing thru each day. Not going to happen.

I hear ya Lrmsd. Mrsgowdog and I went to Tony's Deli not long ago and I'd just started this insane diet and had a tough time finding my kind of food in there. I used to like Wild Oats when I lived in Denver but was probably more into the gourmet food.

I love Vitamin Cottage. This is Pueblos speed. I wish Ambrosias was still around.

I've been on this crazy diet since about December 10th and have gone from 222 lbs to 199 just today. I weighed about 235 about 4 months ago. I shop at all the stores here searching for "food". La Grees on the Mesa, southside Albertsons has awesome produce and spices, Pueblo Asian Market on east 8th has awesome fish and exotic food. If I'm going to buy a bag of onions, lemons, limes, etc., I go to Sams for now.

I went from a Vegan diet to a Veggie diet with some fish to a balanced diet with 50% green leafy and other veggies, 25% good proteins like grass fed beef, free range poultry, wild game if I can get it, wild caught cold/Alaskan fish, etc., 1/12 % good fats, the same for beans legumes and seeds and fruits.

This is hard to do and expensive. On top of all of this, I have to hit the treadmill 20-30 minutes a day and do ab crunches and some weight lifting.

Losing weight is a piece of cake

But a good grocer/market helps. Maybe this diet will be easier in the warmer months.

Sorry I got on a roll but this is a topic that I'm very into now.

I'm fairly conservative and love me some comfort food, but I also want a hippie's abs.

yeah, but whole foods is a bit picky. there r still some areas in inland california still without trader joe's.

anyone check out the broker list for The Fresh Market? They have brokers in all the areas they want to expand in. I heard their next plans are for more in the Bay Area like Berkeley and Danville.

I've lost 85 lbs eating the same crap I always have, just less of it. It's taken 2 years.

But, I am VERY IMPRESSED with your results and dedication. Kudos!!!!!
