Hello everyone,

I'm new here on the forum. I wanted to ask, does anyone know of a remote/isolated home or small town, anywhere in Colorado?

The reason I ask, is because I suffer from severe PTSD, and social anxiety disorder, and borderline personality disorder as well, and I just don't do well around a lot of people, and whereas my doctors tell me not to stop smoking marijuana, it is very hard for me to attain with my condition, especially since I never leave my house... LOL Don't worry, I don't hurt people, I'm not a violent person. Marijuana is the only thing that I have found that keeps me alive.

Plus, I heard that there are some pretty nice retreats in Colorado.

Anyway, any information anyone might have would be greatly appreciated...

There are tons of small farm towns out on the eastern plains of Colorado. Some are not that far from Pueblo which has both rec and medical MJ sales.

East of COLO SPGS you'll find sparsely settled areas, with access to Med MJ in COLO SPGS (cheaper than rec MJ) and all the military benefits found here.

The west side of the state has many such towns too.

Just look at a map and pick one, there are small towns all over the place. Look at padmapper.com for rentals.

If you "never leave your house," how do you expect to live in a remote and isolated area? How do expect to get even basic necessities to live? The grocery store doesn't deliver. In remote and isolated areas of Colorado, you will also be long distances from specialized medical services. Colorado also ranks near the bottom in what is available for mental health services, as well, especially in the rural areas.

Then, there is cost. It can be extremely expensive to live in many of the more desirable remote areas of Colorado. Out on the Eastern Plains can be much cheaper, but the scenery is much less attractive and most of those rural farming areas on the Eastern Plains don't hold the favorable view toward MJ that the metro areas and resorts do. Despite MJ "legalization" at the state level, it is up to local option as to whether either recreational or medical MJ sales are legal. Many rural locales have opted out of legalization.

As far as how I get the necessities of life, Yeah Amazon Prime! I can get nearly everything I want from them, have for quite some time now. For the medical services, well, there's nothing more that can be done with me, so I don't require access to any sort of medical facilities.

The money part is taken care of by Veteran's and SS benefits.

From both your post and the previous, it sounds like perhaps one of those smaller farm towns, perhaps a few have legalized it, at which point I can just grown my own. I just have to figure out whether the west side or the east side...

There's a million threads on this already, but where in Colorado? It's a big and diverse state. If you want a small isolated town, look at Silverton. It's about as isolated as you can get. Bring lots of money.
