Hi Everyone,

I’m planning to relocate to Colorado and have been focusing my search on active adult communities (new construction) in or around: Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs. 55places.com shows only 16 current active adult communities in Colorado — not sure if this is really a complete list of current communities.

Is there a Web site or other resource that can show me planned/future community construction (late 2014 - 2015)?

I will be visiting Colorado in June to check out possible options.

Thanks in advance,

Pat

I briefly looked for a web site or other news resource that addressed planned/future community construction but did not find anything useful other than this site with one story (maybe others later?):

55places.com looks like a good start but here are a few more links that might contain something new or useful:

I once looked for a retirement community centered on horseback riding. Not surprisingly, there aren't any!

Hello NW Crow,

Thank you for the quick reply and information. Investigating the various builders might be the best way to get early information regarding future projects. I'll take a look at the links -- I appreciate it!

Expanding beyond "adult communities" and focusing on the various home styles might also offer some additional options, such as villas and patio homes. The monthly fees at some adult communities can be pretty steep.

Thanks again,

Pat
