Kirk Taylor of Mayberry will appeal it if they try to get it.

So instead of 60,000, Bands in the Backyard will remain a 3,000 venue.

Don't believe me? Bet me money and shake my hand.
Hmmm... this!

So private citizens should be allowed to flaunt the law because it economically benefits Pueblo?

I have some high-level nuclear waste for your dump and I'll pay a premium to to dump it there.......

I knew there would be some hurdles with the legalization of pot as its new but overall we are going in the right direction and this is no different. I am excited to see what they come up with later this year and next.

This is from the Chieftain:

Representatives from High Times magazine said Monday that although they pulled the plug on plans for the Cannabis Cup, they will absolutely keep Pueblo in mind for future events.

“We think Pueblo is a great place to have a Cannabis Cup and all of the hard work put in thus far can be used to help secure future events in Pueblo,” High Times said.

Go ahead and blame the sherif. Meanwhile, High Times put the clamps on the deal, and commissioners across the state are shutting these cannabis clubs down.

So as we said, like it or not, Will Pueblo... or Colorado for that matter please pot producers? Snopes says False!

In the end I will agree the sherif had little to do with this. I think High Times needs more time to organize a event. However after his reaction to this event there is no way I will ever vote for him again.

There are lots and lots of VERY pleased pot producers here in Colorado.

In 2014 alone:

833 retail establishment licenses issued
1,416 medical business licenses issued
15,992 occupational licenses issued
109,578 pounds of medical flower sold
38,660 pounds of recreational flower sold
1,964,917 units of medibles sold
2,850,733 units of retail edibles sold
412,000 units of non-edible, infused medical marijuana products sold
359,000 units of non-edible, infused recreational marijuana products sold
Average of 300,000-320,000 medical plants cultivated each month

Colorado 2014 Marijuana Industry Statistics | The Weed Blog

That is only for 2014. In 2015 recreational sales alone were just shy of $1,000,000,000.00. That is one billion dollars for those who do not wish to count zeros.
