When Colorado voters legalized MJ in the State did that also let Hemp be raised legally? I don't think legal Pot is going to have many benefits economicaly but Hemp has the potential to benefit ALL of Colorado residents and others involved in agriculture.

Yes Hemp was also legalized, but it has not gotten the attention that recreational pot has.
Off to a slow start with just a few experimental crops planted. Not sure why the slow start
but it might have to do with unable to get seeds in huge volume needed.
Also the uncertain market for hemp since it is still not legal elsewhere.
All processing of the hemp would need to be done in Colorado, we could not export raw hemp.
It is definitely a crop that is suited to our region.

Around 100 years ago Hemp was grown in Nebraska and other states. Ditch weed ( old volunteer Hemp from that time) thrives all over Nebraska. It requires very little water and it has many uses and some to be discovered in the future. I think many farmers that are currently irrigating corn might decide to go back to dryland farming with Hemp as their main crop. I don't know that Hemp would be OK as a livestock feed but the water growing it vs corn would benefit all of us. IMHO it would be a win/win for agriculture and the country.
